An open-air photo festival on the road to unrestricted holidays. Les Chemins de photos, a festival now well known in Occitanie, and rising, rising For 10 years now, over 120 photographic exhibitions have been staged each year in the hills of the Lauragais region. To be enjoyed without moderation from 27 May to 8 October 2023.
Local and international images in 20 villages in the west of the Aude region. 80 photographers offering their variations on “Scenes of life”.
Several meetings with the photographers and the public will take place between June and October.

The cultural summer of 2023 is shaping up to be a hot one in the Lauragais, as elsewhere, but here the photo exhibitions are bringing a little coolness from June to September.
Over the 10 years, almost 500 photographic exhibitions have been set up in front of the eyes of locals and tourists alike, who have been delighted to discover the villages nestling in the Cathar hills and the photographers taking part, all of whom are diverse in terms of their photographic genre (which some might consider outrageously iconoclastic), their geographical origin (from here or elsewhere) and their use of a variety of techniques, from old-fashioned silver to unbridled digital.
The constant aim is to bring photography to the countryside by encouraging the necessary mediation, to take it out of the box, to put it on display for everyone to see, even those who, although bathed in images on a daily basis, are not used to reading images, which in our villages gives rise to questions, comments that may be favourable or unfavourable, or even hostile, but often very enthusiastic.
